Cutting her teeth at Am Law 200 firms like Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP gave her the experience at partner level to handle complex commercial litigation, often with millions of dollars at stake. And her life-long advocacy work provided the insight to see her legal role as part of a greater force for change.

Proud mother to her son, Alexander, independent filmmaker, and veteran of the United States Air Force, Esperanza calls the multicultural neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York home.

With nearly two decades experience as an entrepreneur, civil rights advocate, and community organizer, Jorge is uniquely positioned to advise clients on the intersectionality of business law, civil rights, and government relations.

He earned his stripes at leading and premier organizing and civil rights organizations like 1199 Service Employees International Union “SEIU”, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, and LatinoJustice PRLDEF, which gave him the expertise to address systemic issues through advocacy, policy work and litigation.

Jorge is a proud product of Manhattan’s Lower East Side and currently resides in New York with his wife and son. He is an avid traveler and runner.

Jorge’s awareness cause is Stupid Cancer, which helps to empower everyone affected by adolescent and young adult cancer by ending isolation and building community.
